You must give him a name if you haven't already. A fish with such personality deserves a good name.
The only thing with a name in my tank is a nassarius snail, one of the four I bought was larger and had some light brown coloring on it’s shell so I named it Gary of course. Over time the other three grew to the same size and got some brown on their shells. I no longer know which one is Gary, I guess they all are.
 
So would one bucket be enough? And is that a decent one? Or are there others that are better?
I would say that is probably the most used salt and popular with reefers with large tanks because of the price. Most of the seasoned reefers use it. I understand it is what the big public aquariums use. It should say on the container how many gallons it would make if not you would have to convert it to cups. Remember you have to tank In account you sump volume and water displacement from rock and sand.
