Well of course the tailspot is a requirement but I would also maybe like a bicolor.

You could try it. Bicolors are more hiders imo. They have similar body shapes, but in a big tank (with plenty of nooks to hide in) it might be fine.

Careful there @Calmwaters , don’t let @Katrina71 pressure you into anything. A couple months back she talked me into a naso tang for my 32g, same stuff, cute pictures and videos. The Tang Quickly outgrew the tank and one day the tang police arrived and marched me out of my house in handcuffs for all my neighbors to see. Did 60 days hard time.

Maybe she was trying to gently lead you to an upgrade of your tank to a bigger one to accommodate the tang?
