So question about testing, while I'm cycling I just test ammonia, nitrites and nitrates right? Then after I'm cycled I start testing for the other stuff right?

I wouldn’t bother testing nitrites just know their presence will give you false high nitrate readings. Once cycled you can start testing the others but until you have a significant amount of lps and or sps calcium and magnesium really won’t be necessary early on.

More or less. pH, temperature, specific gravity, etc are good as well.

Nitrate is the only thing I test for. When you see nitrates, then you can watch the ammonia but it should be gone soon after nitrates show up typically.

OK so before I kill the aiptasia with the lemon juice, I just want to confirm that I take the syringe and stab it into the aiptasia or do I just squirt it on top of it?

I’ve also been watching some videos, and it seems like everybody does it inside the tank.

Yes inject it into the mouth, so the needle penetrates into it before you squirt the lemon juice.

That’s salinity. You’ll want it at 1.026.
