Thanks for the suggestion Katrina. I was hoping for something not actually running in my tank 24/7 and that would take away from aesthetics. Not to mention no hole in my lid.

Nobody else uses a backup that isn’t a generator or car battery? I’m not interested in anything DIY.

You can certainly go with a commercial backup.

I think about you Joel, one LFS receive a french angelfish. I don't know what happened the last 3 days LFS received some many shipments fish and coral, make me regrets my tank size.
