00W's AIO Smorgasbord

I just wanted to make sure I mixed it correctly lol. I know those levels are more when I introduce corals.
do you use HANNA?
The API calcium test is a little hard to use but the chemicals in it are good and, IMHO it's accurate once you get it down.

Alright, this has been on my mind all night. If you had Kip's issue with phosphate after over bleaching...would you let it ride or chemically remove? @kevgib67 and @tbrown and @fishguy242 and @00W
I'd let it ride. .2 is highish but I run .14 on purpose... Phosphates drop out through chemical removal and there can be issues. I lost around $400 in Acros by bottoming out Phosphates with a 10.2 alkalinity.

I am a huge fan of the blue. I guess I overlooked that. I always use it, and always plan to. Thanks Frank!
Me too. Change out bag monthly.

I use Hanna for alk/nitrate/phosphate.
API for calcium/ph.
I really only test nitrate and phos, ph every other week for fun it is usually pretty steady.
What is your specific gravity at?
At 1.026 your going to test differently than at 1.023 for calcium/alk.
Advice given above is spot on.
If I ever have a problem that doesn't involve food, I test all water sources/additives/salt mixes etc. To identify source before measures taken. :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:
If I can't figure it out I go from there.
Easy to overthink everything in this hobby.
I'd get ammonia source/cycle going just test for nitrate for now keep salt level and temperature consistent.
Don't know if that helps.
Love my Hanna checkers, my eye sight not so good so not having to guess at colors or lvls is great.

HANNA: Nitrate/Phosphate/Alk/PH
AQUA FOREST: Mag
RED SEA: Calcium

So on the other side of the wall of my office there is a subway and they are baking pretzels and the smell is starving me... I can also smell it when they make cookies or bread...
How long does it take to walk over and get one?

Less than 10 minutes if they aren't busy. I had lunch so I'm good now and while I didn't get a pretzel I did get some donuts to go with my afternoon coffee. Lol

Which Hanna phosphate you are using?

Remi, BRS is having a 15% sale on all Hanna checkers and reagent refills. I have this phosphate one:

I got mine too yesterday- along with that cool red algae. I put algae pieces in DT, is that ok?

I got 20 Asteria snails as I was down to about 8 trochus only. I also go their seeded bioballs and some copepods. I’ll take photos of bioballs on that rack and put on my build thread this week.

Yes I threw mine in as well. My tuxedo urchin looks like he is wearing a gilly suit.

That looks like perfection - but my ultimate is the powdered sugar ones. My Dad loved the, and would always bring me a pack as well when he did weekend errands.

I prefer the crunch donuts...
