Hi everyone,

I got stung by some nasty sting nettle so I am taking it easy tonight. I have developed an allergic reaction, but nothing too serious besides a ton of pain. I hope everyone had a great Thursday.
What is a nettle? I hope you feel better!

Thanks Kev. It's a type of plant with millions of tiny fibers with a nasty acid and other chemicals in it that can cause irritation when touched. The fibers go in like thorns almost. It is edible, but you have to cook it so the stinging cells die. I was near farmland where it is most commonly found. It is supposed to feel like getting stung by hundreds of bees...

You are wrong, but very close!

Alveopora.
That's it!!! Very similar to the goni though according to the pictures I seen. I think I want more of them in different colors. Do you know if I can put several of them close together without having issues?

Alves can touch each other usually but they cannot touch Gonis or Bernadopora.

I’m not surprised, I’ve been going through life wrong for 57 years. I’m glad she got the right answer. Tax dollars down the drain as usual.

I will be sure to get just Alves then thank you!
These touched in my old tank, not as much flow in this one because it's shorter and I don't want sand storms.

It is evil for sure! I have brushed up against and felt the horrible sting but luckily was not allergic to it.
