My experience is that hammers like low to moderate flow and light. I’m not familiar with your light and flow. You’ll want the polyps to jiggle. My torches I give more flow and light. Sometimes it takes just a little moving around to find the right spot. Thanks a lot Kevin. I knocked it over several times and got extreme discouraged before I got it right. I've been light acclimating some hammers, mushrooms, and zoas on the sand bed. I'm trying to decide where to place everything on the rock work. I know hammers can be aggressive, so they'll probably go on top of the arch.
