The POTM prize isn't anything special unless you have a camera with long lense... otherwise it's just like taking pictures from the surface since cell phones can't get into the porthole.

But it's a badge too! Lol

Sweet! How many gallons? I want to see it full of fish, inverts and corals by tomorrow.
90 gallons 36x20x22
Tomorrow it will be full but with fresh water hahahaha ;)

I'd love a POTM prize one of these days but I guess that one of my pics would have to be put up for voting for that to happen...
Your entry was sweet Tim, don't know why it didn't make it.
I'm very surprised mine made it at all, photography is definitely not my strong suit, but reading the guidelines it said show us something that doesn't look like it's a tank so that's what I did.
There were some great shots this month, probably one of the hardest months to choose a winner I can remember.
I also liked the premise.
It made people like me who don't have a tank full of amazing coral a chance to enter.
There were a few that didn't totally follow the guidelines but that's just how it goes.
I was happy my mediocre picture made it in.
Just so you guys know, I didn't vote for myself. I voted for what I thought was the best picture.
Honestly I thought @Stang67 was the most outstanding.
Just sayin....
I also think that all the entries should be voted on. I don't know why some don't make it.
Probably get yelled at for that opinion but that's how I feel.
Sorry @tbrown but Timmy your's was better than mine. :smiling-face: :)

Just remember Luis, nothing good happens in this hobby if you go slow, have patience or take your time.

yeah luis! exciting! you all are going to get sick of me asking about tanks :flushed-face: . but i cant swing a new set up so im keeping an eye on used. very hard to come by in my neck of the woods:confused:. but i found someone who is getting rid of a brand new set up. never had water in it. he just bought everything- tank, stand, rock, lights, sand, sump, return pump and all the plumbing and its been sitting in his house for a year. its a 150gallon starfire low iron glass tank. but hes wanting a pretty penny. thoughts? never have tried this make...
