A torch. Sadly, the pricing on them currently is CRAZY high, even for a single head.

personally, i have obtained every coral i've desired, but if i HAD to use the 1k$ it would be for an OG bounce. any left over $$ would go towards to CSBTA, haha

If it were me I would not purchase a torch. Brown jelly is way to problematic. I would rather find some cool skoly-sps or deck out with color morphs of zoa

Because some like name brands or unicorns.

On the other hand people with long running systems do not chase unicorns be it corals or equipment.

You really do need to see some of the holy grail torches in person to actually appreciate them, there are some really crazy ones out there but the price is also equally as crazy. Gold torches used to just be 80-120 a head but i think the blue leds really helped to show off some really cool highlights present in some.
For the tenuis stains, they really only look good under heavy blue lights for the multcolored polyp strains, but they also come down in price usually after a year or two which makes them a bit easier to get
