How long dose that last you?

The system should be around 4000 liter total so if I do a 10% change each week thats 400 liters per week. These hold 1000 liters each so around 2 containers per month.

I plan to have 3 containers in the garage. I will have a pipe in the garage to connect to that flows into the containers into the basement so I can easily transfer water from the container on the trailer to the ones in the basement.

Only in Norway does the delivery people call you and say they can't be bothered today it will be delivered tomorrow. You can imagine my reaction!

What the crap ? What did you say.

Let me wrap my brain around this. I know you have stated this before, but I am being lazy
  • You are using sea water for you system ?? or a special type of saltwater ???
  • You drive 6 hours round trip for a load of water
  • You are going to make this trip every other month.??
Suggestion: would is be easier and more cost effective to make a deal with a local carrier that delivers to the water source. The carrier drops the empty units and picks up full units

I would agree, thats a lot of work. Is a large RODI system not a possibility? With that and large salt reserves you could make your own water and can probably go a lot longer between having to pick up more salt than between having to go get more water.

No sorry the picture there is just the containers. If they had water in them there would be 4 tons there!

It was 3 hours each way to buy the containers. Sea water is a 3 hour round trip

Not sure I should repeat it here! I wasn't happy

How did you handle it? I am just curious what are the repercussions for businesses but pull that. Because I know that if you pull that in the US you're pretty much dooming your business.

Your house is AMAZING! I can't wait to see the tank once everything is finished. Following along...

That's the problem here, its a small country with no competition so a lot of things are just accepted and customer service is non existent!

Lol its Norway they could not care less unless you are willing line there pockets with more money. Not a thing you can do about it either. Got corals from uk sent over night for 30. They got held up and company told me to get them fast I had to pay more. 240 I paid to get express delivered that day as they were already 4 days late stuck in customs because the shipping company fffed up
