I'm not 100% sure but something happened with my alkalinity it went from 7~to 14~ one day and was like that for a few days when I was gone for a weekend.
I was hoping it was a testing error on my alkatronic, but when I got home the tank was white and cloudy and all my coral were pale, the next few days everything started melting away, it's been pretty messy and lots of water changes and carbon...
now I'm tossing around the idea of breaking this tank down and re plumbing it with a new sump and drying the rock out and starting over. this will give me the chance to move the tank around.
I'm worried about removing the fish, mostly the rabbit fish, he's a big little devil.
some coral looks like it survived, I don't think any acros survived but there's a few others I want to try and save, and luckily I have my other system with some of the corals I lost, but I lost some good ones that were just starting to settle in after 2 years lol
well any way it's all part of the game, and I'm happy with how the short 3 year journey went, I'll be setting the tank up again or just let it recover I haven't decided yet, time will tell check back to see

thanks everyone for watching
