1200 gallon total gallon system.

No problem! For some reason I am terrible about taking progress pictures. I start working and don't take time to take pictures
You've made a ton of progress. We understand about the picture thing; your driving purpose is pretty clear.

Keep crushing it.

Some more progress pictures. Granite bar top is in!
All of the trim is on and bondo is on all nail holes and joints. Electrical is all finished. I hope to have all of the plumbing wrapped up tomorrow

Here is a couple more of the QT. Everyone seems to be happy and healthy......so far. I did run I to a problem last week. I lost 2 fish without much warning. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, until today. Turns out my tank sits right under my shower drain, and it was leaking. Got it fixed today also..live and learn.

Thanks! I do have a little bit of a motive though. I have a Koi Tang coming on the 11th! It is an amazing fish. Oh ya. And I'm trying to get done to make sure my wife stays happy ish...

Just saw your thread, looking really good!!

I plan on using bar stools at the tank. The pews where left by the previous home owners. We use them around the pool table for now

After I get everything finished up I will start moving g around d the furniture to see where everything will end up. I just had a pin ball machine dropped off this evening, so still figuring things out.

Nice! What pinball machine?

So. Its been a few weeks since I have posted. Thought I would share a few update photos. Tank came in last week!
This is looking awesome! I have a similar tank in the planning stages, 130" x 36" x 36". My biggest challenge/dread at this point is getting 1,300 lbs. of tank from floor to stand. Do you mind sharing how you lifted your tank into place onto the stand? Tricky physics or a pizza party for a gang of 25/200s (25 yrs. and under and over 200 lbs.)?

Looks really good so far. Following along!

Hate when people call ALL of the heavy, cold and expensive worktops “granite” :/
You have, a man-made-quartz there

I hate it when people comment on things they don't know. I can tell you for a fact it is granite. I bought it, installed it, and drilled it. I can tell you with 100% certainty it is granite.

of course it is lol.
in my books man-made-quartz. and since you are in states, it is produced, most likely by cambria.
check out this link and find the colour you have

by the way, do you know name of this "granite"? :D

Granite and quartz are nearly indistinguishable and he didn’t give any close up pictures so why would you question him?

I 'd hate to see this granite vs. quartz debate derail a great build thread. In the midst of that exchange, my earlier question sort of got buried. PT, I would still very much like to hear how you lifted the tank into place since I will be facing the same challenge in the near future with a 1300 lb. glass tank. Thanks!
