14g nano invert display?

They'll punch fish trying to steal their food too.
Mine will come out doing the pom pom dance then just scoop up a peice of mysyis with his leg then scuttle off to hide. The only bothersome thing he does is just stand ontop of my zoas for a bit waving his nems around thats it. Still amazing little dude.

Their worth it. I dont knlw how big they can get but my crabs kain body may be the size of a nickle maybe? But tons of personallity and they do like to hide but in a small tank like mine (10gal) i almost always see hime once a day during daylight hours especially during feeding. But they will crawl all over the tank shanking their poms in the air real awesome to watch.

Cool, my nano tank isn't much bigger than a 10g. 20"x12"x13"

Pom pom crab, a few sexy shrimp, rainford goby and a sapphire damsel.

Oh sweet! My 10gal is a softie and lps tank. My pom pom is the only unique invert in there other then like snails and hermits but it also houses a wyoming white clown amd a swales swissguard basselet.

Unfortuanatly i dont have a whole pic of the tank.

I have a 10 gallon IM Fusion that has the following:
Pom Pom boxer crab
Pistol shrimp
Yellow coral banded shrimp
3 astrea snails
20+ Florida Ricordea
5 different play/zoa colonies.
Small Acan
Jawbreaker shroom

The inverts do ok. The pistol has knocked off the coral banded's arm a few times but it is back after a molt. I don't see the Pom Pom that often. I've owned three others over the years and this one hides the most. This tank is in my office so not having fish makes for less maintenance. Minimal food and fish poop to fowl the water. I change 3 gallons every other week. I run an ATO and Kessil 160 over it. Just filter floss, GFO and carbon in the back with the stock return pump and no additional flow.

Cool, I'm all SPS with one Duncan that is super inflated during the day. Acros, stylo, monti cap, digi, pocci, birds nest. Three astrea snails are the only inverts I have right now and no fish. I'm also running an A160WE. No ATO yet, it doesn't evaporate much but it's on the wish list along with a doser.

In my nano I have a green banded goby and a gold line blenny (from KP Aquatics). Both are very personable. KP has some uncommon blennies, my other tank has a sail fin blenny who is also full of personality.

Love me some blennies.

Love the idea of a bunch of different types of small shrimp!

I'll have to look them up. I'm wanting to add some inverts soon. I've been having to dose nitrates because my SPS is fading in color. There's no food left for my corals.

Divers Den does not have two squat lobsters anymore. You shouldn't have posted about them before you could snatch them up. I'm breaking my "rules" for my nano - I was trying to set only Florida/Caribbean species but I made an exception.

No, seriously, thanks for posting. I wouldn't have noticed in time to buy one.

Haha, I wasn't going to be able to buy one right now anyway. I'll grab one next time. Enjoy your lobsters.

Thought you said you weren't going to buy one right now? ;Smuggrin Just couldn't resist, huh?

Mine arrived today and she looks good. Of course she's hiding, but that's what new inverts do!

I need something in the tank to feed. My phosphates are bottomed out and a few of the corals are suffering. One invert will hold me over until I plan on adding more. Mine won't arrive until Tuesday.

I fed my empty tank while it was starting. But, yeah, it's always nice when that first critter gets in the tank and you've got something mobile to watch.

I had a baby coral beauty angel in there but velvet... that's why I've been looking for the perfect inverts for now.
