That is true. If the choice is leave the 15 in the closet and buy another light or throw it on the tank it’s not much of a question lol.Guess I didn’t understand , so their wasn’t a question ? You can dial down the light but your spread will be at least 24 inches

I think you are way under gunned for a Tang. The only wrasse that will be ok in such a small tank is a opossum wrasse.all sps; acropora and montipora. For fish thinking a small bristle tooth tang and a couple wrasses.

I’ve got a xr30 pro and blue if it needs it sitting in boxes for my larger build once I cut my teeth on the nano.Definitely following along !!!
But if you are gonna go for all Acro/Monti's an XR30 might fit the bill better truly.
