I'm fine with a million little bristleworms but one that big I would not put back in. Especially after you've gone to the trouble of catching it, laying it out on paper towel ect.

Nice bristle worm! Up to you what you do with it.

I got some large ones in my tank. Largest I found was around 18" stretched out. It's now in my 10 gallon hitchhiker setup. I don't go hunting these in my tank. If I see a large one completely out of the rock work, I'll pull it out and place it into the 10gal to cut down the population in my 40 gallon.
