Slow and steady the build is happening - I just finished sheathing the cabinet - picking a pattern , I’m going to use reclaimed wood to do the finishes

I like the idea of the shelf underneath.
I'm almost done my Tank installation, and one thing you might want to consider since I wish I did it, is some kind of Adjustable leveling feet.
I had to use shimmy's to perfectly level my tank since I built my stand it level, but when I move it to resting location, the floor wasn't level in that spot.

I’ll be honest - I bought the leveling foot adjusters like you mention previously. But I just couldn’t weld them on . I kept on doing the math and the fear of putting 1300 pounds on a single point load scared me to death lol .. I rather just shim the hell out of it when the time comes and have a even out weight transfer . Any advice on a HD hanging kit for a canopy?

I’m no expert but it’s thick and solid . The only thing that I’m scratching my head is for the pump - I just notice that’s is a proprietary pump and if it ever fails (it’s expensive) thru them . Honestly for the size and power I don’t think there’s anything better out there

Yes that always amazes me on any skimmer. I have a Curve 3.5 on my 40 gallon now and it's never given me problems in over 4 years but you know how this hobby goes, you see the shiny $1000 skimmers and think you're missing out. Hopefully you get started before I do and I get to see the thing running . I'm just getting started on my stand myself later today.
