Well, one of my dwarf seahorses gave birth 17 days ago and ALL of the babies are still alive and doing wonderful. I actually had to buy another 2.5 gallon tank to move some of them. I am waiting for one of the other males to have his babies. Love my ponies!!!

Congrats! Do you have a link to your setup or anything? My wife's been asking for seahorses and I've started looking into the dwarfs.

Thank you. I am very excited if you can't tell. lol I have a very strict schedule with feeding, I think that is the key with these little guys.

Man thats awesome! I know nothing about seahorses but I am sure sucessfully breeding/ raising them is no simple task so congrats hopefully they continue to do great!!

congrats Missy!!! That's awesome news! I hope you'll be posting pictures! I can't wait to see em! I've been debating on keeping sea horses but not sure if I'm experienced enough yet, I don't think I could handle losin' em.

Honestly they are the easiest critters I have. I have 2 2.5 gallon tanks with the smallest sponge filter made. I use a tiny heater that is preset. I feed them newly hatched brine shrimp every morning. Takes about 5 mins each day. They are so fun to watch. I am working on a better light, but they don't seem to mind the lamp.

Both adults and babies in the pics.
