Wow, I really love the dwarfs. I've often considered starting a small tank for them.

Will they only accept BBS? Any success with cyclopeeze or any prepared foods? It's the main reason I won't get them.

Really awesome tanks man and amazing job raising those babies!

Thats pretty inspireing. I have tossed around the idea several times but currently I can't be home enough to care for them the way I think they should be.

Grats and keep up the great work.
If you don't mind would you post your average maintenance and feeding schedule.

Once a week I siphone the bottom of the tanks. I usually change about 25% of the water at this time.
Every morning I feed them newly hatched brine shrimp. I usually give each tank about a half of a turkey baster full.
That is all I do and they are very happy. Like I said, very easy to take care of and an absolute joy to watch. They are not very active as a rule but if you watch them first thing in the morning after the lights come on, you can watch them dance around. It is a riot to watch the female do the mating dance for the males.

Wow thats quick! What is their lifespan? I havent really researched seahorses as I have been told they could be hard to keep for a newbie like myself...

Only 1 - 1 1/2 yrs. I am also a newbie!!! But I studied them for a few months before I took the plunge. I am not real sure about regular sized seahorses.
