180 Build Thread

It's barely moving at all now Gmoney. It's probably tuned down to about 95-100 gph. To clarify,there was some tongue in cheek with the gfo mess in my sump. I didn't deliberately put it on full flow (265 gph). I was reaching into my sump and trying to figure out how to adjust flow on the pump when I slid it to full power only to see about a third of my gfo get blown into my sump.

The stand is about 28.5" tall with 26.5" of clearance on the inside.

Getting excited, I will be ordering my LED lighting next week.

Haha.... 95-100 gph is the sweet spot for most. Build is looking great.

Get a 2LF ball valve and put it between the pump and reactor.

Skimmer dialed in and removing junk already. No livestock in there yet, so it must be junk from the rock. Side note, I bought 4 pairs of filter socks and every time I use a new pair for the first time, the skimmer goes crazy for an hour or so.

Crazy how? Skimmers usually go flat for an hour after u change something in the water. That what your talking about?

No, it starts overflowing. These are new socks out of the package. Not sure if they are sprayed with something or not. The skimmers intake pump is in the same chamber with the socks.
