Anemone doing well. So I was just going to target feed it mysis a couple times a week, but I read they need something more nutritious like silver sides?

I use regular shrimp that you get from the grocery. I don't like to give them stuff with bones.

Second reactor in. Added 500 ml of EcoBak. Plumbed in line with my carbon/gfo. Added a T connection to a second drain with a ball valve to control flow to the second reactor. Works perfect.

You might want to consider stopping use of GFO if you're going to run BP, don't really want the BP to compete for food. Looking great Derek!

Hope there will be enough flow when I increase the pellets to the 1250 ml recommended for my water volume. The pump tops out at 295 gph and the video is with it wide open.

Great video Derek. I think you may be ok with that pump and 1250ml of ecoBAK. Right now your tumble rate is a little high, so i think it will level out once you add more.

So two things today going on in the life of my reef. My water is cloudy this evening, I suspect bacterial bloom related to EcoBak. Also, I added a pair of cleaner shrimp today. It's hilarious watching the fish line up for cleaning. I suspect half my fish are infested with flukes considering the constant grooming my Pygmy angels are getting from the cleaner shrimp. My yellow tang has been doing the head shake and some scratching also. He was right down there with the two angels in line for cleaning.

Think this ecobak is definitely kicking in, my filter socks are clogging in a quarter the time of normal. How long does that last?

Geese the skimmate is a lot darker too and smells like death.
