Mike how is it working

Well given that he has been running it for only 4 days, he wont be able to say for at least 4 weeks. But I promise you, it will work like a champ.

Yea duno yet. My params are fine. I just wanna see if there's a benefit other than the obvious filtration it provides. Did notice tho some acros polyps have been out much better today. Duno if any relation lol but these are the type of changes I'm looking for

I believe PE is direct benefit from running bio pellets. The bacteria that is reaching the water column is a food source. Hence killer PE

ok so i did some major rescaping on the left side of the tank and a little to the right side. please all watch the vids and tell me what you think.

in theory the ecobak would win. bacteria works fasters than algae and at a different rate of consumption. algae is like 16:1 nit/phos bacteria is 10:1 , but with as little as im using there should be enough nutrients for both and especially since my ats is fed by drain so it gets the nit/phos it needs. the way it is i think what should happen is the algae will just get leftovers and maybe not grow as well but the end result hopefully is a stable low nutrient environment with both bacterial and algal microfoods being produced for corals and other food web inhabitants.
