Sounds like you also have a new tank.
I would not get an anenome yet. Let the tank settle it, to much going on. Anenome can't handle that yet.
My tank is 6 months old, I accidentally cleaned my filter too good and had a spike of nitrite.

Nitrite is harmless at lower levels.
I still stand by my statment.
Work on learning stability so you don't accidently "clean" to good.
Once you get that down, add the anenome.

Gotcha, thanks. Yeah I did a **** ton of research and honestly I don't see much talk about nitrite as much as they do nitrate so im glad to have someone comment about it. Again thanks!

There's not much talk about nitrite because it just never is an issue in an established reef tank. :)
