2.5G Office Pico - SPS recommendations

So have found a NSW supplier for a decent price, so this will be powered by NSW going forwards

Under the Sea

So the 72 hour black out has completed and I don't have that fuzzy white crap anymore. I do have some GHA growth, although that seems to mainly have occurred on the Codium and a small amount on the gracilaria

Spotted my tiny CuC hard at work, Hermit and two stomatella snails

I have adjusted the light so that most of the Rockwall is now illuminated at an angle as opposed to top down, don't know why I didn't think of that sooner

I think I had multiple algae’s trying to dominate at the time as I spot no bubbles in the display since adding the "Powerhead"

Also the side support is now bowing, so going to shim that

This week I moved the Pico to my Work's Office and upgraded to the Kessil A80, I decided that I needed a distraction from the mess that is the RSM at the moment and this little Pico is perfect for that

Need to tidy up those wires, maybe later today, maybe early next week. Most likely I'll keep meaning to do it and never will.

Also reserved a Fish and a Frag for Monday, I could have added today but would rather be able to keep an eye on the new additions over the weekend.

Royal Blue Damsel (about 1/2"), last one in the tank so was allowed it for £5

Also reserved a nice Encrusting Montipora, browned out under shops lights. Again £5 from Bargain Bin

Want to get some colour in the tank so have gone for bright greens to start off. Small monthly budget (£30.00) which has now gone but should give me some time to find some additions for next month (April)

Here he is, lurking in his cave

These arrive tomorrow ;Bookworm

So delivery came in at 8:55. Love it. Gave everything a half hour warm up bath in the RSM, did a dettol dip and placed them on a cheap little frag rack that I made this morning, the first little glimpse of colour

Spinel (Damselfish) makes me laugh, such character and feisty. Checking over the new additions. "Where's my staghorn?" I think that look says

Pumkpin Pie Montipora - Really excited about this one

My luck with SPS corals continues to go well, I wasn't in the office yesterday and discovered this morning I left the Rocky Road Montipora in front of the Powerhead in direct flow.... didn't enjoy that
IMG_20200306_084302_resized_20200306_084325585.jpg

Have altered the position of the powerhead slightly, the good news is that the Monti Frag looks no worse for wear anywhere other then where I blew the polyps clean off the Skeleton

Morning all, good weekend? Good Good.

So the Rocky Road Monti has not lost any fuhrer tissue which is reassuring

Green Digitata is looking really good, only a few of the very tips dont have polyp extension
IMG_20200309_100831_resized_20200309_100912854.jpg

Getting really excited for this one, so slow to extend and colour up....
IMG_20200309_100824_resized_20200309_100912677.jpg

Only issue that I have currently is the Encrusting Monti
IMG_20200309_101306_resized_20200309_101318976.jpg

It appears to have some wax like coating over the entirety of the Frag/colony whatever, no polyp extension what so ever, small areas of what looks like green film algae (basted away) more light and more flow?

I would try more flow first.

Hmmmm, not sure where I can put it in the tank where it can get more flow........ might try and frag it, that way can try a little piece in the Fluval and the main piece in the RSM...... or see if i can swap it for some smaller frags
