I have ‘many tangs’ and they all get along fine including a Yellow and a Tomini so I would think you should be fine in a tank that size.

It does of course depend on the individual fish’s but it wouldn’t hold me back

Probably a dumb question, but if you haven't bought your tank yet, why not get one a touch bigger so you're not on the borderline? If you're a seasoned fish keeper, plz disregard. If this is your first saltwater tank though, adding tangs as some of your first additions is def swimming in the deep end of the pool.
Money is main reason. Plus size of room it's going into. Really just size restriction. I have had cichlid tanks forever. I set my first reef tank up about 4 months ago. A 29. Not big enough, lol! So I went as big and nice as I can fit in living room.

So full grown you think the reefer 350 is big enough for the yellow and tomini?

At some point, as they grow and mature, and depending on what else you add, you might have to move them on, or buy a bigger tank.

The actual tank size recommendations for a Yellow Tang alone is around 100g so you can see the potential issue if you thinking very long term with no changes.

I have a beautiful Yellow Tang and Regal (and many others) that I had in my 260 when I started out but they were small

If you are sure you will never upgrade, or wouldn’t be happy to potentially rehome them, then the answer is probably no, but I think you would be fine for a good few years

Ok. No, I don't want to re-home. My fish are my pets, just like my cats, dog and bearded dragon. So I think I will stick with my decision of a tomini and kole. I will absolutely be attached to these fish.

When I had a FOWLR tank I had a Purple and Yellow Tangs, got both as juvi's and they did great together, this was a 75 also.
