I have never done this, but I will tell you I watched it and I can relate. I do know that the guy I watched do it mounted the end caps and stuff to the board first. Then he did the wire and final adjustments and then put the bulbs in. It took him less than 30 minutes. It would have taken me 3 hours I am sure.

Good luck. I am sorry this is causing you grief. Wish I could help you more.

Sandy

You may have already figured it out. If you are still working on it, hope this helps. Here is a picture of my old vho setup with the wires the way go into the cap. T5 endcaps should be the same. Usually they go in the top of the end cap as seen in this photo. There is a small copper tab that is pulled back easy and the wire is inserted and this holds it tight against the edge of the cap. It is easiest to wire them first and then put the bulbs in.

Steve if you need help I'm in the Melbourne area. Next time you come this way I could try to give you a hand. Let us know how its coming, I could also try to give you advice over the phone if need be. Let me know.

I feel very retarted today. Im sick and then this. I was tryin' so hard to wire them from the front of the endcaps where the little holes were but then i saw coralfarms post and i was like i gotta try that.

So i go out to the garage within 5 minutes of workin on them ive got them all firing. But, i have to wait until my pop gets home so he can do a fireproof check, hehe :). And so that i did it correctly.....
