210gal talk lighting setup

Forgot to mention lights are 12"-13" above the waterline.
without mods I have about 16 inches above my tank edge, 17 above water line to ceiling. Should accommodate them nicely, and still less height than Orpheks wanted.

Thanks for your picture. I’m running 4 Radions and 3 Kessils over my 72” tank. Whenever my wife tells me I went too crazy on lights I can just show her your lights and my setup will seem tame.
Why do you guys need so much light? I mean wouldst 3 XR30s be enough to grow whatever you want?

I have an 8 foot long, 2 foot wide, 31 inch deep tank. it's the 30 inches of water depth that require the powerful lights. And I like to research and Talk Shop about peripherals for fish tanks.

I have a pair of 100watt lights on my 75g. 16 inches of water depth and I see the difference between the top of my rocks and the bottom in light intensity. That would be even more pronounced in nearly double that depth of water, plus I have a 22 inch wide glass center brace 5/8th inch thick I need light to penatrate.

What do you mean by the difference? Man 5 of them is alot of light!
Tank was not as bright and the ends just seemed darker, I run a WWC program and perhaps could have changed things to compensate for the missing G5, however the 5 units is what I prefer. Crappy cell pics, next reef upgrade - new camera.
