How were you able to get the unit mounted so close to the top? I really like how you have it mounted. Most systems I've seem with the ATI unit mounted inside usually have a big gap between the hood and the unit.

I drilled 2 small holes in the canopy which the airline cables are run through and are attached to a 2x4 which is attached to studs in the ceiling. So really it's not mounted to the canopy at all just the ceiling. Only way I could get it high enough over the water. Sitting at about 10" over the water now.

yea it was a challenge, I had it mounted in the canopy at first but it was only a few inches off the water even when I had it pulled all the way up. I think the spread is much better at this height. I also have temp controlled fans in the canopy and leave the front open, this light does get very hot.

HA yep!, itll be here tomorrow but prob wont start setting it up until the weekend. Really appreciate the deal and you staying in contact. I may have some questions in regards to setup but I know its what this systems needs for overall stability.

GEO is def the best cal reactor IMO. If this doser doesn't work out for me, I'll be getting another one.

Are you mixing your own 2 part or using B-ionic or something similar?
