265 Gallon build

What I am suggesting is not a minimal Aquascape, it just allows for future coral growth.

Working on this rock, it has this perfectionist struggling. I think I bought far too much rock lol

Hey chief... looking good. At the end of the day, if you like it is all that really matters.

(Disclaimer; I have been known to have a very vivid and creative imagination.)
For me, your design looks calculated and not very random. Yeah, I realize everything in nature follows a certain order. However, that order is often unrecognizable until going down to a small unit of measurement. Anyway, as I look at your design, my eyes are automatically drawn from left to right. Almost like the "flow" of the rocks goes that way. (See first pic below)
Additionally, what I say next may ruin the present scape forever. I see a bunch of doggie style going on there but, as you know, I'm slightly not right. (See second pic below) Anyway, that's my $.01. Most folks give their $.02. I usually only give .01 because that's often what it's worth and money is a little tight too.

Lol dude you are a special person! Thanks for your interesting analysis as always bro;Wacky;Wacky

Leak test and leveling was super nerve wracking but it held up overnight! We're good! My floor was off by a whole inch on the left side of the tank! Going to start placing the rock in the tank and begin plumbing although I'm still waiting on a couple peices that were left out of my order.

Rock is in. Just waiting for permission from the wife on a couple more things and I can begin the 4 month cycle (3 being in the dark). That'll give a good amount of time for me to get the remaining equipment (first lights and gyre pumps, protein skimmer, then later a calcium reactor and down the road a controller)

I'm liking the small changes made in the scape. Looking good!

Hey... updates?

Hey... updates?
Not really I ordered one of the 2 pumps. Still waiting for the funds and permission to buy the other and the ro/di filter and sand and I can begin the cycle. It's been tight on money the last couple months so that's the only delay. Im thinking a couple more months and I should have it ready to cycle. I did add a couple more larger arches of rock.

I think that scape grew on me because I'm digging it now!

I can TOTALLY relate to tight funds. I was going to ask you for a loan but you shot that idea right in the ****! Lol

Lol not gonna happen buddy. Thanks on the scape, I changed it a bit, made it less symmetrical and more natural looking. I love it myself!

Hope all is well!

Thanks bud. Yep things are good, haven't made any progress. I'll probably buy the second pump today, then I'll just need the rodi filter and sand to begin the cycle. Money has been tight with the summer vacations we have planned but I'm anxious to get water in this beast. Thanks for checking in, hope things are good with you too!

Hey @CoreyWakefield123 bud... anything new and exciting? You take a vacation to anywhere wild and exotic? Any pics? What's happening?

Went on vacay to Cali, did some great white and mako shark fishing. Then bought the wife a boa for her biology classroom so haven't spent any money on the tank. How you been?
