Didn’t feel like spending a fistful or cash for acrylic dosing containers.

Made some out of old Voss water bottles i had.

Total cost-

Voss bottles- free

1/4” bulkhead RO fittings- $6.00 for 5

1/4” OD Acrylic tubing- $12.00 for 2 36” sticks


$18.00/4

$4.50 for each one. Not bad

I did exactly that. Heated a push pin. Pushed it through

Added some SPS to the tank a week ago.
Getting better at this.
Need to stop chasing numbers and just let it do it’s thing.

I’m running on a 29 as well! All HOB at the moment, but one day I’ll clean it up and get a sump. I like the clean look of your tank.

So I finally finished my doser setup!!
Couldn’t be happier!!

Finally got my 10g switched over to my 29 ! Added some more rock, now to let it sit for a few and mature some before adding anything =)

Ok so an update!
Going on 8 months since water hit the sand!
Things are running smoothly.
Parameters are stable. Corals are happy and growing.
Biodiversity is apparent!

Lot has happened with the Darkhorse Reef lately...
Still getting some great growth from my LPS and SPS
Parameters are dead on with no swings other than maybe temp. 1-2Degrees at most
Still running ULN
Nitrate undetectable
Phosphate.oo2
Tank is due for a ICP Test!
