Wow Greg, I've read Paul B's thread and enjoyed input from both of you but had no idea you had such an innovative tank of your own. Very very nice and well done.
 
Thank you, very different approaches, but I am fascinated by Paul B and some of his methods.
 
The result of 0.00ppm phosphate is not a good thing. Over the past 5 days I was on the road and my Phosguard reactor stripped all the phosphate out of the water. The result, a favorite SPS coral bleached. Rats!
 
Thank you for reminding me. I am using a media to reduce phosphates for the very first time and I run kind of a clean "dirty" system so I think I better test and see where we are. My clam and LPS thank you too. I am very sorry about your favorite SPS, its always a bummer to lose a favorite anything!
