Coral in recovery... had gotten stressed a bit which lead to some minor tissue recession which lead to tangs picking which lead to further recession.

Dipped in 50/50 hydrogen peroxide for 3 minutes and put in the recovery sump.

Cross section of the previous pipe... I had heated this and installed round. It was also on a positive pressure end of the pump so the distortion over time clearly went back to its original shape.

Working on getting several mini Kamoer dosers hooked up with my new dosing line holder...

Going to move the lines to be above the water line I think out of an abundance of caution and switch to some ridgid lines.

Main things I need to dose is potassium, magnesium (off and on), & aminos. Thinking of doing Tropic Marin elements as well.

Then run my ATO line through this and the output end of my AWC. The other end will draw from the probe holder.

The three mini Kamoer's only use half a space on the holder so I'll be able to hold 8 lines total.

Have loved my ClariSea in general and has been running since it was first available in the US.

One thing I've noticed over the past number of months is it started to bunch on the roll.

It's fine until about half way through the large rolls then the bulge gets too big and causes water to flow around the edges.

If you look closely you can see the grate is bowed from the force of pulling the roll over the edge. So I'm thinking if I weld-on a stip of acrylic it will help support that edge and prevent it from happening as badly or all together.

It's been an eventful several years with this system... ups and downs and a year long battle discovering a variety of issues but it's looking great now!

I still prefer the lights on full over the blue death glow but this is fun once in awhile too.

I'd have to agree! I've been on the lookout for a long time for something special in the favia/favites/platygyra families... going to be a showpiece for sure.

Keeping it in my sump until after Thanksgiving. Then I can observe it better with the fish.

I did it differently this time and put in Tim's and one other brand. As I recall I only had enough for half the suggested water volume.

Of what I had I put in about half over a few days a month early and the rest once I added fish (no real reason, just seemed like a good idea). Then ran with room lights only for a few weeks after fish were added. As soon as lights went on I added my coral which came from my previous system.
