If it ever lets go (and yup that happens) your going to to sued successfully for negligence.
Read about 100g letting go, the clean up was $74,000.

Nobody is crazy enough to insure that.

Hey, I am with you in the desire. I will also agree that some buildings hold up very well to hurricanes and such. That said, I am an interior designer in SW FL and I can tell you that many of these buildings are OLD. One of my contractors neglected to do a small connection on a stackable washer and dryer a few Christmas' back. The owners arrived, Christmas Eve, ran a load of wash and went to dinner. That contractor had to pay to clean carpets three floors down and repair drywall in 4 units. Concrete floors and ceilings. Water is the most destructive force on earth.
I would never ask forgiveness on something like that. If the condo association says yes... get it in writing and get liability insurance.

Since you haven't even started moving yet this sounds like it should be a job for your realtor.

If it was me, I would tell them I don't even want to see any places that don't have in writing what size tank or weight limit I can have and what extra insurance if any I need. This will eliminate you wasting your time.

There are plenty of people in the world who have huge tanks in tall buildings, The building codes, condo boards and rules will vary..

If, and only If it's allowed and the floor can support it, get insurance. That's alot of water and heaven forbid a seam cuts loose, you'll need insurance.
