It definitely was. Have a few more settings I want to fine tune. Mainly the pressure adjust and corner flow. This weekend im going to switch to the petg I have and print a new frag rack and reprint the skimmer stand after I redesign it. It's too thin and would sag in the center.

I found this thread a long time ago, before I ever set up my SW tank. It only made it worse wanting to scratch that itch. LOL

I just haven't been active here since I don't have anything to really contribute at the moment. Still waiting for the printer to arrive. LOL

Did you find one? I've just made one for a Jecod Return Pump power brick, am I right in thinking Jecod and Jebao are the same company? Happy to share.

Slowed my print speed down to 250 and made the support smaller, it turned out perfect!

Still fun racking out those parts at 300 with 5000 travel speed though! They end up fine for personal use but have some flaws.

oh baby i am waiting for a nice skimmer stand for a simplicity as well. Mine is on an egg crate table. its wobbly at best.

Yes I'm running Klipper on an Ender 5 S1, walls are printed slower, I'm still learning to program Klipper.

I can pop one of those stands out in 25 minutes with preheat and ABL, Cura tells me 40 or so. So I guess that's good. I really have nothing else to compare it to.

that is awesome, I am looking into purchasing a second printer. I can't keep myself satisfied with only one, ender 3 with the auto bed leveler and pei sheet. I am using PETG plastic and can hit about 65 mm/s , will have to look into the ender 5 model. wowzers !

This is my first printer, running Klipper makes a difference, I ran the printer some without it. setting up Pressure Advance right and everything else makes a big difference.

I'm still a noob so @Projects with Sam could probably give better advice.

But one thing I found with PETG is that adjusting you z offset more works better. PETG doesn't like to be squished PLA doesn't mind as much. When the first layer goes down I watch for any boogers popping up and increase the offset if I see any. It helps keeps the stringing and blobing down as the nozzle doesn't move the material around.

Here's PETG ran at 40 initial layer, 125 support floor and roof top/bottom, 200 on walls, 250 infill, and 2500 acceleration. Speeds bounced between 140-250 due to cornering velocity I believe.
There's a few hairs, a few blobs, but turned out really well. My last one I believe was 150 walls.

Anything that needs good detail I wouldn't push it that fast though.

And yeah I'm already thinking of another printer too! Kids always want me printing something
