I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting all the new names. I've got another stone (different species than the new year's talk above
) that is trying to ruin my day, but I'm not having it. I'm loaded full of feel goods and guzzling lemonade (homeopathic that has worked for me in the past), so I am staying optimistic (not a common path for me 
). They like to take up residence these days, so if I can hold it off until Saturday night around 10, I'll be home
. Swaps have always been stone magnets for me for some reason... Same with in-law visits. Can't find a link on that one...

So having never had to hold corals in a bag for more than an hour, and without jostling, how does this cooler thing work, do I need ice packs, and peanuts, or is a cooler alone cool?
If you keep the temp somewhat stable, you'll be fine all day. By the time I get home from swaps (min 4-5 hrs for any swap except Atlanta or Birmingham), my corals are usually 8-10 degrees cooler (or more) than the tank. I just float them for a little while, then do normal acclimation.
