I would keep the trigger and trade out the tang. There are other tangs in the tank. The trigger is a different shape and behavior.
Do you have any experience with that trigger? Liveaquaria says they can rearrange rockwork and need foods that will keep their teeth ground down.. sounds like that could be problematic

Yes, it's a peaceful trigger. There is no need for any special care for their teeth.

Pretty much a new guy, I have only been running my 180 for just over 4 months (some previous tanks (20, 55) glad to read what I have so far. I am looking to have 3 tangs in my tank (180), I have my Blond Naso. My Blue Hippo and Yellow Tangs died in quarantine at my lfs. Looking to add them in the following order - Blond Naso, Blue Hippo and Yellow Tang. From what I have read, I can keep these fish - just have to watch the growth and evaluate. The rest of my stock is an Ocellaris and a Tomato Clownfish, Pigmy Angelfish, 6 line wrasse and a cleaner shrimp. I have a small CUC as well. and about 12 corals.
