I would do an apex jr and 2 tunzes. The rkl doesnt have nearly the functions of apex. And i dont think rkl can do wavemaker/ light dimming options like an apex can

Soooooooo I ordered a mp10 from petco.
Figured if i don't like it I can return it to the store

And my hamilton metal halide bulb burnt out or blew today while I was at ac...Glad I ordered that phoenix bulb the 3rd.
So no light but 2 18watt blue t5's till sat or monday. The bulb is only like 2 months old....
They says shipment is coming sat but I don't think fed-x delivers on sat.

Got a open brain, some kind of acan or brain cant tell which and some polyps

And I am working on sump I have empty 10/29 gallon tank and a brand new quiet one 2200. Just no space for it with current stand.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can find what it's been battling with. Do you think something took a chunk out of the tail or do you think it has a disease?

Think something took his tail and half his back part off. He is dying. Rip Howie. Could a hermit do that? Fish was active and healthy eating had great coloration.

Maybe Zeus or Hercules, can't remember what you named your hermit that survived the bleach, decided to act as God and take it out. I don't think a hermit would do that... Not quite sure though.

Ya the critter, I already miss the stupid tang and my royal gramma, update the bulb shipment changed on sat to monday, and my mp10 comes monday also YAHHHHHHOOOOO, hope everything will be ok. It looks fine now but its only 2 18w blue t5 lol. I did lower the light to as close to the water as I could get it with what i had to use.. Its all jerryrigged atm kinda depressing losing 2 fish in 1 day, the bam bams the pbt tryed to eat still haven't opened either. Sorry im rambling, need to vent I guess.the skimmer hasn't produced skimmate in days if I turn it up anymore eventually it overflows. Could this be cause of the no lights?
How should I acclimate the corals to the light after 4 days without actual white light.
Oh and I found a stand, Yahhh now I can start building a sump. After I get a glass holes overflow who will drill my tank for me? It will be full still. I just don't feel comfortable doing it.

Also please point me in the right direction for a skimmer for my tank.
I might upgrade to a 75 one day also but probably nothing bigger for a couple years.

At anything over 65% it is loud annoying loud, so far im not very impressed with a 252$ powerhead.
maybe im missing something?

I don't know why the Vortechs are so hit and miss! I had an MP40 on my 90 and it was FLAWLESS.... I know that many have had a variety of problems (including noise) with all different Vortech models, but I loved mine.

That said, I'll probably go Tunze on the 180.

It also might not be aligned perfectly. If it clatters then its off. Try adjusting it slowly to see if a better alignement reduces the noise. Mp10 shouldnt be that loud
