Ok so to solve my led vs metal halide issue.

Im sticking with the metal halide but, im going to be adding 2 36" ati t5's need to find a retrofit kit somewhere. Anyone have any suggestions what to get what not to get?

I ordered a phoenix 14k bulb. Lets see how that does with color and ill go from there.

I used to have MH's and T5's on my 120 back in the day. I sold the MH's just before I moved here and ended up using just the T5's to light my tank when it was freshwater while I rented.

Negative, otherwise I would have offered to sell it to ya. A sold it to one of my friends and he is still using it on his cichlid tank. Just letting you know if you can find a used one that they are really good. It's roughly 6 years old and the powersupply is still good!

I'd go for the controller and the 2 Tunze's. I don't have experience with either of the pumps but to add a controller is in my opinion much better than one controllable pump!
