Hi all, have been reading these forums for a couple weeks now and decided to sign up. I am new to saltwater tanks but this is my setup. ( don't laugh)
40 gallon breeder DT
Eshopp 300 overflow box
2 jebao wp-10
Aquatic life t5 ho light
20 gal high sump
Mag 5 return pump

I only have one lonely mushroom in my tank.
About 40 lbs of live rock.
It has been up and running for about 8 months now

Welcome to R2R, your tank looks really nice, I like your rock scape. :)

welcome to reef2reef! tank looks good!

Update!!
So I kicked the Aqua c remora to the curb and got a bubble magus curve 5. (Huge difference). One of my jebao wp-10 took a crap so I got a wp-25( way to powerful for my tank ha). LED lights are bought and waiting on them to show up to my door, and just ordered a phosban reactor.

Welcome! Great start! I love the patience you have taken being new to the hobby. It's hard to do. Great set up and we look forward to seeing your success!

Thanks! I only have 2 clowns and a goby/shrimp pair right now. Probably wont be adding to many fish, trying to keep a light bio load. Will be mainly a softy tank once i finally start buy some frags ;).
wanted to wait until i switch to my LED lights to add corals.

Couple new things. I switched out the T5's with my 2 LED fixtures. Love the way they make my tank look. Installed DIY moon lights. Added 2 reactors, one with carbon and the other with GFO. Lastly finally got a tunze osmolator. got rid of my clown fish so now it is just a goby/shrimp pair lol. Having been sitting back getting a feel for the tank before I start stocking it.

I like your setup! How do you like the Jebao wavemaker? And how much sand do you have?
