40 breeder build

I like your setup! How do you like the Jebao wavemaker? And how much sand do you have?
Thanks! Pumps are a lot more powerfull than I would have thought, and for the price you can't beat it. As for sand I have 1-2 in, enough to be level with the black trim and the bottom of the tank.

So about 40lbs of sand? Yeah I'm leaning towards the Jebao too. Vortech makes awesome stuff but I can't afford $300 for a pump. I'd rather spend that on lights.

Little update. Went out after work and got some frags to start building my reef.
Current list:
Monti
Acro
Rbta
Trumpet coral
Gonipora
Frags bought today:
Cats paw
Another acro
Stunner chalice
Zoas ( gorilla nipple)

I don't know all the names of all of them but will get some pics up tomorrow when the lights come back on.

Some pics of new additions...
Zoas haven't opened yet so I don't have pics of those.

Zoas finally started to come out slowly so I snapped a shot of them.

No big changes other than stocking the tank with more fish and a few more corals. Just waiting for everything to start growing out now. ;)

Installed the SB reef lights upgrade kit in my Mars black boxes. We shall see if it makes a difference....

The light on the right is the sb reef light and the one on the left is the Mars black box.
