Correct watter flows over the top. Of that last baffle. Look up sumps and baffles.. That's how they all are. There is a few thst don't use the 3rd baffle but most 90% use the third baffle There is a gap under the secound baffle.

I knew I wasn't crazy. What do u think of the filter sock area, I am so tired of working around plumbing.

That is the same way I did mine - both sock holders and baffles. It will work fine.

I kinda got carrierd away with silicone will clean it up. But man it looks good any other ideas u guys would implement into it before it's complete finished?

Your sump was actually a example I looked at ahead of building mine, I took notes on things I liked, but I didn't need all the extra stuff(yet), I just don't understand how your Dann silicone is so fing nice lol. But I will be doing a bean animal overflow so traditional socks weren't my first choice. I wanted black Glass, but quotes kinda sent me back to black acrylic, I wanted smoked but he didn't have it and all that cut for $40 can't beat it.

I do that during reseals, but not usually sumps, I probably should have. But gorilla silicone is like gorilla welding I guess lol. I'll clean up some or the heavy stuff tomarrow. Just went in there and pushed on some baffles, solid as a rock (Probably the 10 tons of silicone) I guess I'll watter test this weekend.

Looks really nice! I love the sock area, wish I had seen something like that when I did mine 5 yrs ago. Oh well, mine really isn't hard to get at.

I silicone the center one first then just push enough silicone to to the other side.

Just painted the back. No more Krylon fusion?? Got valspar plastic paint. Worked good.
