Very nice, thanks! I think the fact the you have such healthy chaeto growth helps greatly with your ability to feed Reef Roids everyday. I try to use it sparingly in my Biocube for my SPS but find it leads to algae blooms for me in my tank because of my limited filtration options in the tight rear chambers. My next build will incorporate either a big refugium or an algae scrubber to allow me to feed more heavily. I'm definitely using your tank as my inspiration!

Thank you Mr V, i've been struggling getting intensity of my system in relationship to height of ATI t5 fixture. When my sps's were seeing 550+ it melted a few torts so i increase the fixture back up. The milli's love it though, guess it all about finding an in between that works for all. Please let up the amazing work your doing, love the corals and your colors!

I test for Par a couple weeks ago. Most of the corals are received 500~600 par at peek (7 hours per day). The frag tank has only 180~200 par, but corals response surprisingly good. Colors are deeper as they are in main tank.
Let see the strawberry as an example:

Some Other corals have better color in frag tank too.

So which par would you think is best for coral? I personally like the deep color from your frag tank but could we say that that is the true color of the coral?

Mr V, regarding feeding, how often do you feed the corals ReefRoids? Also what do you feed the fish and how often? Thanks. And look forward to more photos/videos.

Boy i'm loving the depth of color, looking at your first page photos (before and after) I noticed the difference in color. Do you owe that to anything, is there a N03 / P04 you aim for? Assuming you N03 is pretty high though your running algae bed maybe not? Also you not running any G04 either?

What I can be sure about sps and "par" is that if everything else is right, they can thrive + color up + grow in between 180~620 par.

But they are sure different in growth pattern and color in different intensity.

If the par meter that I borrowed is correct, this tdf is receiving 630 par. All the color it can pull out is red.
I cut some frags, place in 180~200 par frags tank (AI led), a month or two later they all have green/yellow base, one frag even develop a hint blue tip. All encrust (grow).

Main tank : red only

Frag tank: notice one frag turn blue?

I reduced my Radion to 70% at peek to see if there is any change in color.

I feed corals reefroid every day. And 2 cubes of Brine shrimp for fishes.

I am two assume that my nitrate and phosphate are pretty high. I always have algae (bubble, turf, slim, hair...). The glass needs to be clean every 2 days.
My sump is very simplewith just skimmer running part time, chaeto, marinepure block (x2). No reactors of any kind.

I have a very similar setup , I run the nyos 160 skimmer in my emerald 26 sump with 2 marine pure blocks and I have 2 G4 radion pros. My skimmer is always on probably why my nitrates are so low. Hopefully in time my results will be as good as your tank

I have huge population of snail including turbo snails and astrea snails. I have a lot of hermit too.
I have never replace the egg crate.

Do you attribute the lack of algae just to hermits and snails? How many of them do you have?

I like to think in a way that I am having, maintaining a balanced ecosystem in that everything work really well together. Every habitats receive just right amount of conditions to thrive and also have their natural predators (algae-snails). This keep them from dominating the ecosystem.

In algae perspective, I think they are receiving just enough nutrients to grow (but not for outbreaking), and they are consuming by snail (15~20 turbo, 20~25 astreas, 20 hermit).
