Oh man, sorry I missed it where you said it was only a 14g tank. lol. in that case do the math based on 5 drops per 10 gallons and factor for displacement.

Yes it's some work, but way more accurate than throwing a couple raw shrimp in there. :)

I use the ammonia method on all new tank setups for myself, friends and clients. it's never failed me because I'm the one controlling the ammonia.

Okay so when i add the ammonia to my tank do i test it right away and if its 4-5 ppm how long should my tank take to turn that to nitrite?

Since it's a small tank I'd give it 30 mins then test. then wait maybe 8 hours and test again. or even 6 hours and see where it's at. then test for nitrites. in the end you should read 0 for both.

This is the stuff i just bought! Pure ammonia.. Question is now how many mL should i put in a 14gallon lol... Or should i do small tear drops or any other way to messure the amount ???

No, the bottle should say pure ammonia, clear ammonia or 100% ammonia.

guy at the place said its pure. and it the label it says contains no phosphates or fragrances.. so and its smells terrible lol.

Then I would think you're good. none of the bottle I get were labelled for cleaning purposes. and yes, the stuff stinks so don't inhale it.

Like I said before drops can vary in size but I use a small medicine dropper.

I'm using a syringe ..

So i have a 14gallon bicube, do i drop the drops right in the tank or should i do it where the pump is pumping water in the tank???to fix it better.

Shouldn't matter much because the tank is so small, but you could administer it in some flow.

okay, so i did it and the ammonia is around 5-6ppm lol.. i think i might of put to much in it... is that okay, or does that mean i **** up?? loll

I say it's fine. It will just take longer to get rid of, that is if your bacteria are doing their job.
