Firefish gobyAre there any fish suitable for a 5 gallon nano tank (Fluval 5)?
None of those, unfortunately.Firefish goby
Clownfish
Blue damsel
I kept a firefish goby and a clown in my 5g for about a year and they were just fine. Only reason I moved then is because I got a bigger tank there still doing well today. I'm sure they would be happier in a larger tank but I wouldn't say you CANT get those.None of those, unfortunately.
Firefish need at least 15 gallons, clowns need at least 20 and blue damsels need around 30. Even a single masked goby would be a bit cramped. You could make it a fantastic shrimp tank though! Sexy shrimp or pederson cleaner shrimp would be lovely.
I mean, I CAN live in a sedan, but I'd be much happier in an apartment. I'd still rather have a house. I don't even like recommending juveniles in smaller tank systems unless they've already got a larger setup in the works or one that will be ready long before the fish ever needs it.I kept a firefish goby and a clown in my 5g for about a year and they were just fine. Yashi Goby ?Are there any fish suitable for a 5 gallon nano tank (Fluval 5)?
I have two mollies in my reef as well- I used them for cycling, since I wanted to ensure they were ich free. While I did plan on removing them, they’re so useful, so looks like they’re stayingI actually converted a few mollies over to saltwater in mine (I have an EVO V), since I really wanted it to be an invert haven, but wanted a little swimming action. I know it isn't fun or glamorous to just have freshwater fish in your saltwater tank, but the corals and inverts still give it that salty vibe and the mollies provide some movement and are GREAT algae eaters!
