Is it just me or does anyone feel like BRS should have used a random number generator to pick the winners this evening? I’m a little disappointed....

They pulled 5 orders and gave those 5 people refunds. The people were already picked out prior to the stream. I’m not sure if they gave anything else away I had to take some meat off the grill. Then when it was time to give the tank away they just started calling numbers off a paper they had. They mentioned a few times they had 20 numbers on their list. They called 7 people I think and the 8th person answered and pretty much had no idea what was going on. It would have been way better if they used a random number generator.

The refunds were anywhere from $30-$250 and they did pick people who used a certain hashtag.

Nothing is free, I mean I’m not mad or anything because I knew I had like 0.001 chances of winning like the lotto

No one is mad just thought they could have done it a little more professional. Did people really think they were going to call the first person and they were going to answer?

Gonna hurt when those people see those missed calls from Minnesota. Lol. I think there's no way to run a contest to make 100% of people 100% content. I'm just glad BRS has a lot of interaction with their customers and the hobby in general.

I have no problems with it. No matter how it was done, someone would be suspicious or have a "better" way of doing it. BRS has never given me any other impression than that they are run by a bunch of good people who really care about reefing and forwarding on good deals to us. I think it was all legit.

Man your life sounds rough. 3 kids here, wife is pregnant and in first trimester so she is very nauseous. I too have a mortgage and two car payments. My wife is a stay at home mom as well and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Please go troll somewhere else buddy.

Yeah I also thought it would be a random drawing live. Like you put everyone’s name in the tank then draw one out live and their the winner. The odds are always slim but there’s hope if you even have a small chance. I agree that it was a little strange having the names already on a list. What method did they use to come up with the names on the list? Either way congrats to the winner that’s going to be a sweet setup.
