this may not be considered an emergency, i am new here. anyway, i got a 6 line wrasse at my lfs yesterday. i acclimated him and plopped him into my show tank. i noticed after observing him 2-3 white spots (ich i presume). i quickly set up a quarantine tank and acclimated him and plopped him in. its the next day, fish is still doing fine and i am treating it with (kordon rapid cure) should i continue using this? or should i do a freshwater dip, or different medication?

Did you take the rest of the fish out of the display? May as well drop him back in the display and see how it goes...... Ich was either already there, or introduced....

i have
no other fish in the tank

should i freshwater dip him?

Are you sure it wasn't sand? I've had a new 6line bury himself in the sand and I thought the same thing at first glance.
im not sure, ill check

i looked and didnt see them

should i return him to my show tank?

should i wait to see if if was sand?

ok

even with ich on him? i found the spots again

Are you going to treat him in QT for 75 days or so? If not, there is no way to be sure you’re not putting him back in a tank with ich, if that’s what it is

I would put in display and feed/monitor
