I just got an awesome planet aquarium tank from a member here(you may have seen it) and I was wondering what light spectrum would be the best for keeping lps, softies and maybe a few sps. The dimensions are 36"x18"x20". I'm a young reefer so I can't afford any of the high end lights like kessil, aqua illumination, etc. so any ideas would help! Also if your selling a light or have one you would like to sell one that would fit my tank, let me know!
Thanks to all that can help!!

You should be able to find a good 4 bulb T5 unit that wouldn't cost you a fortune. You could also look into the LED strips that 21led.com makes...Reef Bar Pro. I have 1 over my tank (with my T5s) for the extra PAR and that nice LED shimmer.

Ok I'll look into it! I also was looking at buying a pair of reefbright led lights from someone on the forums would that be enough or would you recommend I look into buying maybe a 2-4 bulb t5 to add that extra color for the coral?

Never skimp on lights. T5s will cost you in the end with bulb changes

I defiantly want to go LED but am trying to find some used or affordable. I'm looking for something around 200 which I know is nothing but it's all I have right now

The black boxes of ebay have some good results.
mars aqua
Good low end light from what I hear

1- 60" (30" X 2) dimmable blue LED bar. Plug has dimmer switch built in)
1- 36" Reefbrite 10K Daylight. Soft yet intense ( You know what these cost) (ATI is sold)
1- 50/50 actinic Led bar. Fantastic lighting with nice angle that will cover 48" easily
1- Extra actinic bar Free with package and it does work well).

Would this be a good light setup, someone's selling all of it for 200. I just copy and pasted what he wrote in his ad

Ask how many watts the LED's are. For saltwater aquariums most good lights use 3 and 5 watt leds for water penetration and intensity.

Those might be good starter lights

Their by the company reef bright. Each bar typically sells for 200

Would you still recommend I look for better lights or do you think these will do.
