720 gallon Miami Build

Alright maybe you spoke to this but how on earth do you plan on doing maintenance or aquascaping it? I feel like the openings arnt big enough for large pieces of rock. Also even with tongs this thing is going to be a real PITA to do anything at the bottom of the tank at all.

I feel like a tank this size requires and open top and a way for you to literately get in it to do things

You have a valid point. Pedro fits in although it is quite an adventure getting in and out. Prior to adding water we will put the rock and sand in. Coral placement will. E a pain near the bottom but if there is one thing we learn to do in this hobby it is to figure things out lol.

Is the rock curing for this yet? What's the scape gonna look like?

I bought all dry rock. I'm going to let it go through all its processes in the cycling period. I will be constantly changing water throughout so hopefully the phosphates will figure themselves out in time.

Pedro from Great Ocean Aquariums working his magic. We're gonna drill holes for the closed loop and work some magic with the flow!!

Just curious what made you decide to put your pump out side the sump? I'm going to be adding the same pump to my system soon and trying to figure out to drill my sump or just put it in there. Thanks

There are a few threads on here and RC mentioning heat issues. I also wanted to conserve space inside the sump for reactors and my skimmer.
