To say that I'm impressed would be a woeful understatement. I'm glad that you both chose to reorient the Vectra's position to bring it closer to the sump and conserve space.

Pedro is a beast! I didn't think everything would fit in a million years

Do you have a schematic of how this thing is going to be plumbed? Cuz I'm super confused what that drain is for are u going to cover all that space with an overflow or somthing? What is the t for? A schematic would help us all understand the master plan!!

Don't really have a schematic drawn up and I'm not a very good drawer lol. The T"s will have a cone like strainer at the ends. There's a T for each closed loop. One powered. Y the hammerhead And the other with a Vectra L1. All returns will be up top in assorted positions to avoid any dead spots. We also made glass brackets up too for the two seaswirls that will be powered by the Vectra L1. Super hyped to get the show on the road :-) I didn't drill holes for returns as we did not want to have too many holes on the bottom of this massive tank. :-)

Sorry forgot to mention... the T is to minimize the rush of fish getting stuck on the drain. By having it suck in through 2 sides instead of 1 the fish should be able to swim away from the drains

Im so jealous. On my big tank im planning solatubes. :)

So like no overflow box? U will just have that drain as an overflow out in the open in the tank?

There is an over flow. It's covered with black acrylic ;-) the sumps return is with a second L1 vectra pump. The sump with two fuges should work nice with about 2400 gph going through it. I'm sure my Algae will grow nicely with this set up. Those drains are only for the closed loops. Completely seperate from the actual filtration. I have a Diablo 10500 to run the UV and reactor as well so no major flow is wasted from the DT.

this is the overflow. 2 drains totaling between 2-3000 gallons per hour.

Ooo ok haha thanks I haven't done any research on closed loops I'll have to look into that! Keep up the good work can't wait to see this thing running!
