Odd occurance this morning.

one monti cap decided to start melting? Or something. Everyone else seems fine.
Slimey melting is my description .

it was cupping and thats where it started from a moderately shaded portion.

leave it ? Or break it off and re glue?

will it continue to melt away?

as you can see its next to a very happy green variant

break it and reglue, if you do nothing ,will just continue to melt away.

Accidentally cracked in half, so theres 2 frags now.
Thanks @fishguy242 !

Err

Overnight, 1 week after new lights installed. Only coral to begin melting was the red monticap.

Began from partially self shaded spot on the coral.

i only have those pics to reference

i cant think of any other reason. The green cap next to it is fine. No bugs found only perhaps copepods/amphipods

Just cleaning the glass. Noticed lots of quick little pods and some small white flat worms. Nothing alarming.

at least i think

this green torch looks to be gaining some steam! On way to recovery.

Lost 2 heads , but the remaining two i think are gonna pull through.
