74 Gallon Build

Bought the Deep Blue Professional 74 gallon tank 24x24x30 and the Marineland stand to go with.

So how are folks doing the black background on their tanks? I've seen paint, and tint. I was thinking about just using the black background from AC. Is there a good way to put that on that looks decent?

I personally am a fan of paint. I've grown really fond of the darker blue color on tanks as well. Mine are black though.

I tinted mine with automotive tint...

I've always painted mine black as well. I hate those annoying backgrounds that people tape on

Krylon is what I used

I just used regular Valspar from lowes. Nothing special. Easy to roll on and took 3 coats if I remember right.

Krylon Black spray paint. dont remember the exact kind, but it says that it works on glass

Talked to my wife, she won't let me use the spray . looks like the rustoleum flat black should work. Apply with sponge.
